Upsy

Privacy Policy

Effective August 3, 2026

The short version

Upsy has no accounts and no sign-in. Your alarms, streaks, wake-up reason, and signature live on your phone. The camera is used live and discarded. The only data that ever leaves your device is what's needed for subscriptions — and, only if you turn it on, a single photo per challenge for AI verification.

Data stored on your device

This data never leaves your phone and is deleted when you delete the app.

Camera and exercise counting

Push-up and squat counting runs entirely on your device using a local pose-estimation model. Camera frames are processed live and discarded immediately — nothing is recorded, saved, or uploaded.

AI photo check

For photo challenges (for example, photographing the sky), the single photo you take is sent to Anthropic's Claude to confirm it matches the mission, then discarded — Upsy does not store it. Only that one verification photo is ever uploaded; exercise counting stays fully on-device. See Anthropic's privacy policy.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate subscription status; RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase receipts — never your name, email, or contacts. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Notifications and alarms

Alarms and reminders are scheduled locally on your device through iOS. We run no push-notification servers.
